Biography: ICS is the preferred supplier to many of the UK & Irelands NGO's. We recently won a major tender to supply Inmarsat equipment and airtime to the Inter Agency Procurement Group a collection of the main Aid organisations in UK & Ireland . We also supply many other charity organisations, missions and expeditions. Other market areas include Media & Broadcasting, Oil & Gas, Maritime and Commodities. We are suppliers for some of the largest News companies in the world providing satellite telephones and Video equipment to provide live broadcasts from war torn countries and remote locations. ICS Ltd also specialise intelemedicine solutions; ICS Commercial Director Simon O'Neill has recently been appointed as the Communications Consultant to the Royal Society of Medicine Catastrophes and Conflict Forum. Other Partners and clients include Telemedic Systems Inc, TMed Solutions and Medops. We are active members of the Inmarsat Partnership, Midjan Group and the World EOD Foundation. As well as mainstream commercial customers we have also been involved in some interesting projects such as the round the world balloon attempts. ICS were chosen as the communications consultants for Richard Branson's around the world balloon attempt the ICO Global Challenge. This was a very complex and demanding project and although the balloon wasn't very successful the communications certainly were.
