Florida statewide radio communications system
Florida Statutes authorizes the State Technology Office to "acquire and implement a statewide radio communications system to serve law enforcement units of state agencies, and to serve local law enforcement agencies through a mutual aid channel." This shared system provides an enterprise solution to facilitate communications among thirteen State law enforcement entities. |

Currently a total of 102 agencies utilize 639 talkgroups (radio channel equivalencies) on the current system. |

Michigan PSCS
Administered by the Michigan Department of State Police Communications Division, the MPSCS Astro 25 project is a 181 site SmartZone Digital Trunked Radio system, APCO 25 compliant, providing 97% state-wide mobile radio coverage. The project is being constructed in four phases with final completion slated for the spring of 2002. |

Vermont DPSCJS Two-Way Radio System
The Department of Public Safety has been operating and maintaining multiple statewide radio systems for more than 30 years. The systems are used by various emergency service providers, typically state, local, and federal agencies, including such entities as the Vermont State Police, the Highway Department, the Fish and Wildlife Department, US Coast Guard, and a single system serving more than a dozen fire departments. |
